Davidic Alliance Report updated October 30th, 2004

The Alliance supports, advises, becomes relational, shares resources and sends teams to help in House of Prayer start ups.  To date we request prayer for Chillicothe (Peoria), IL.  Zion, IL. Amery, WI.  Chicago, IL (The Prayer Furnace is now 24-6), Racine, WI. Pittsburgh (McKeesport), PA. Beloit, WI. Whitewater, WI. and most recently, Pensacola, FL   Within these cities are people who are fervently praying with vision for their cities, states and regions.  We have relationships at different levels with each city.  We are believing God for their success as it also represents our success in establishing a place for the body of Christ to come and express itself in worship and prayer.

Our posture in house of prayer "start ups" is to be bondservants to Jesus for their edification.  We have a great deal of respect for those taking on the vision to bring about a house of prayer in their community.  We believe that they have pure hearts before God and that the issues of unity in the body of Christ have come to a maturity.

Establishing a "house of prayer" in a community must have a long term focus in order to see a 24/7/365 community of worshippers and intercessors gather for a common purpose of seeing their community engulfed in the presence of the Lord.

House of Prayer "initiators" need to have their marriages and children covered in prayer.  They must have genuine relationships with each other based on honesty.  They must surround themselves with people who worship, pray and interact with them in intimate (into-me-I-see) relationships.  This will help them weather the storms and build a solid foundation that will become the infrastructure of a house of prayer in that community.

The foundation of any house of prayer must be free of human ambition and anyone desiring to make a name for themselves.  Many recognize that prayer brings Jesus into the things we pray for.  When Jesus comes, we must see to it that He is able to establish Himself within our community as "Sovereign Lord."  This is a painful process for those at the center (God always starts with individuals)  as personal agenda, selfishness roots and the spirit of religion within us all will surface and must be repented of in our life-style and activity towards others.  This process takes time because we all have certain levels of this human sinful condition within us at varied levels.  Unwilling-ness to walk away from this self-agenda Christian lifestyle will cause you to "crash and burn."

The process, is an activity of the Sovereign Lord.  Therefore, a maturity is required towards the brothers and sisters in the body of Christ.  The Bride is making herself ready and SHE will be without spot or wrinkle.  Not everyone in the body of Christ is willing to give up their "stuff."  They like things the way they are and will never be willing to change. Others are on God's time table and will come along at God's pace in their life.  You must be bridled with patience, hope, faith and foresight on their behalf.

Start simple.  Build on those hungry for the presence of the Lord.  Pray with vision.  See the big picture of Jesus seated and established.  Pray songs and sing prayers, sing and read scriptures.  Get in the devils face by proclaiming that the Word of God is true and it will come to pass.  When the presence of the Lord shows up....bask in it.  Don't be in a hurry, enjoy Him, linger with Him, cuddle with Him, speak to Him, listen to Him and learn to FIX (gaze) your eyes upon Him.

New Kind of Gatherings

By Ron McGatlin

The presence of God as a consuming fire is dissolving the desires of the hearts of His people for things that would compete with Him as Lord. The cares of this life for the riches of self gratification and honor of men are dissolving in His presence. The need for position and recognition in the church denomination is fading away as we are consumed in His love. His abundant life is replacing the lifeless form of church religion of the past. These "called out ones" or no longer gathering around a personality or a beautiful building.

The new kind of gatherings are based on the presence of God - full out worship and praise - deep intercession - real holiness - love beyond measure - the glory of God and manifested miracles. The new gatherings range from home groups, small churches, rented halls, large rallies, church basements, and some larger churches that are truly seeking the kingdom of God first. Many of the gatherings are predominately younger people but all ages are involved. Some call it "simple church", some may call it "church without walls" or in some places the "underground church". Whatever it is called it is REAL church.

Revival and renewal have birthed the seed of the kingdom of God in the hearts of the "called out ones" and they cannot be fully satisfied in a religious form of "worship". The kingdom of God is coming forth as Christ is being formed in His Body on earth. This is a powerful work of God that is not under the control of a man or headquarters on earth. The "quarters" of the Head are in heaven. "Christ in you the hope of glory" has taken on a much greater meaning in this new day when Christ being formed in the hearts of multitudes of believers. Revival and renewal have not slackened but many people have matured into kingdom lifestyles after being changed by revival and renewal.
